2015 Subaru Palm Challenge – Final Show Down, 5 Filipinos Standing Strong

MANILA: Qualifying rounds are long over and Subaru Philippines have shortlisted 10 hard workers who will stand strong in the days’ long challenge. All the selected ones are presently in Singapore, the chose distinction for the Subaru Palm challenge. The Philippines team is competing against the rest at the Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, Singapore.

Below is the list of 10 individuals that were transported to Singapore to compete at the Asian Face-Off -

• Francisco Gomez
• Alec Ebuen
• Juntie Torres
• Dan Angelo Vilacorza
• Oshwald Jhon Carbonell
• Marcus Leui Pagcaliwangan
• Donn Michael Yap
• Giber Hamo-ay
• Current scenario -

In all nine countries participated in this 14-year old challenge, with a hope to win PhP 1,398,000 worth Subaru Forester 2.0i-L.

• As for now China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand are left with two contestants each.
• Taiwan and Hong Kong are no more competing, with no team player left for country representation.
• A tough fight is on cards for Malaysia and Philippines with six and five members left in respective countries arena.
• Singapore entered with 320 players and is currently left with just 46.

Philippines Update -

• As of 44:51:23 the Filipinos left are – Oshwald Carbonell, Juan Furiscal, Gildert Hamo-ay, Alex Neblasca and Donn Yap.
• Francisco Gomea, 40, was the latest one to get eliminated as he felt asleep and wasn't able to mind hand,
• Before him, 21 years old, Alec Ebuen dropped out, coz his foot swelled during the event.
• Marcus Levi Pagcaliwangan, 19 and Jautie Torres, 39, after giving a strong standing disappointing failed to continue.
• The first one to lose control was 24-year old Dan Angelo Villacorza.
• High hopes are attracted with the seven-time representative, Alex Neblasca. Last year he had a whopping standing time of 75 hours and 43 minutes.
