2019 BMW Z4 images leaked
MANILA: It is known that the two world’s great automakers, BMW and Toyota, are on it together to create the new 2019 BMW Z4 and the upcoming Supra. While the Supra has been spotted quite a few times now, the upcoming BMW Z4 was known only in the concept form until now. Finally, the wraps are off and we have some leaked images that show off the latest Z model.
The leaked images show that the Z4 looks exactly like the one showcased earlier as a concept. The slim, wide signature kidney grille remains its place while the headlights look absolutely stunning as well. The character lines and creases on the front bumper have, however, gone a little sharper than what we have seen on the concept. The air intakes on the front bumper appear to be smaller than on the Z4 concept.
The side profile of the Z4 depicts the angular lines, air outlets just behind the front wheels and the dark, alluring alloy rims that get an upmarket, glossy finish. The rear section gets a sharper look with a pair of sleek tail lights that look similar to the ones on the upcoming BMW 8 Series. By looking at the images closely, it is now known that the new BMW Z4 will be offered as a soft top.
Talking about the engine, it is believed to be powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo engine that generates a max power of 385 PS. Not only this, it is expected to feature a high-performance braking system, a customized front axle, locking rear differential and power-operated controlled dampers.
Though exact specs are not known yet and the company has been tight-lipped about its launch too, we expect the official unveil to take place at the upcoming auto extravaganza, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California later this month where we are likely to get all the answers.
