All-new Hyundai Creta launched at MIAS 2017

MANILA: The South Korean automaker, Hyundai has further expanded its lineup in the country by introducing its urban SUV, the Hyundai Creta. Yes, the much-awaited SUV from Hyundai Philippines has finally landed in the country with a tagline, “perfect partner to your lifestyle”. The all-new Hyundai Creta is manufactured and exported from the Indian market and possesses similar specs.

The front is dominated by three slats horizontal chrome grille which is accompanied with sleek and sharp headlights. The side profile possesses crisp and clear shoulder line, which gives the SUV the perfect Urban stature. The diamond cut 16-inch alloy wheels further improve the sportiness of the compact SUV in an effective manner. The manufacturer has designed the SUV for moving people in style and comfort and the same is reflected through its exterior styling which lacks any prominent rugged features except the chunky wheel arches.

In the cabin, a black color theme with beige color combination gives a sort of premium feel while the high-quality materials used in the cabin makes Creta competent in its respective segment. The feature list includes automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Bluetooth, USB and Aux inputs.

Unlike the Indian market, the Hyundai Creta is offered with only one engine option which is a 1.6-litre Gamma MPi engine which delivers 123 PS maximum power at 6400 rpm and peak torque of 15.4 kg-m at 4,850 rpm. The engine is further coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
