BMW X7 first official teaser image released

MANILA: The X7 concept was shared with the media and the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year. Now the renowned luxury automaker has officially released the first teaser image of BMW X7 in its production state. It is being claimed that the X7 will be the most sophisticated-looking and luxurious BMW model to date. The car is expected to make its global debut very soon.

The images display the presence of a highly prominent and aggressive-looking double kidney-shaped grill, which was also there in the original concept shown the previous year. The frontal portion of the luxury vehicle portrays a really bold design with this gigantic grill.

This latest and largest model of BMW lineup apparently features a divider placed in between the upper and lower fascia, forming a U-shape. This extends in a vertical strake within the air intakes. Two exhaust pipes making their way through the bumper on the rear side offer an athletic finishing touch. There are large-sized faux corner air intakes placed on the frontal area of the bumper. Multiple vertically designed slats are easy to notice on either side, giving extra visual prominence to its immense size. The BMW X7 also will have bold-looking LED headlamps.

Though no confirmation has been provided from the automaker, it is being speculated that the all-new BMW X7 might be powered by the innovative and highly advanced 340 PS straight-six or 462 PS V8 turbocharged petrol engines. Among its probable engine contender list, the highly robust quad-turbocharged diesel engine powering the X5 M50d can also be included.

Patent images and spy shots of the vehicle have been circulating the network for quite sometimes, so potential buyers already have some idea. The teaser images, however, helped in revealing a bit more pixelated insight into what the BMW's most luxurious and first-ever seven-seater might look like.

Technical details of the vehicle are not available yet. On the basis of assumptions, it can be said that the X7 might feature a huge infotainment display designed with a digital instrument panel, displaying multi-information. An array of sophisticated and smart technologies are surely going to be there in this highly acclaimed luxurious vehicle.
