Ford PH to roll out refreshed Ranger lineup tomorrow

MANILA: Ford Philippines rolls out the upgraded version of its Ranger lineup, which features a refreshed exterior look designed to adapt to the customer’s lifestyle.

In a statement, Ford Philippines President and Managing Director PK Umashankar said, “Our new Ford Ranger lineup will allow us to continue building on our leadership in the pickup segment in the country. The new Ranger is set to deliver on its promise of functionality and capability while enabling the diverse needs and lifestyles of our customers.”

Highlighting the exterior of the Ford Ranger Wildtrak variants is a striking trapezoidal grille with Saber ornaments. To give it a bolder look, the Wildtrak is embellished with gloss black accents on the lower bumper, rear bumper, fog lamp bezel, exterior mirrors, fender grille, sports bar, roof rail, and tailgate handle. “Wildtrak” decals are installed on the side door and tailgate to create distinction from the other Ranger variants.

The Ranger 4x4 Wildtrak variant offers an exclusive option for customers to get a power roller shutter. This original Ford feature is an automatic load compartment accessory that can be easily accessed by simply pressing the power buttons on the dashboard, remote key, or pick-up bed.

The Ford Ranger XLT variants now feature a stronger look, accentuated by its new front grille and gloss black accents on the exterior mirrors, door handles, and fog lamp bezel. The Ranger XLS variants also come with a new front grille.

Aside from the launch of the new Ranger lineup, Ford also revealed the “Live the Ranger Life” philosophy to highlight the competence of the Ford Ranger. The brand enumerated the five guiding values that they follow to come up with a pickup that will satisfy their customer’s needs.

According to Umashankar, “Live the Ranger Life will allow us to connect with our customers in a deeper and more emotional way by showcasing how the Ranger enables their passions and goals. Understanding our customers allows us to deliver the right vehicles that truly meet their needs today and in the future. Beyond their functionality and versatility, pickup trucks have become symbols of success for our customers, and the new Ranger’s refreshed look and design will allow them to fully express their identity and individuality.”

The new Ranger XLS, XLT, and Wildtrak variants will be available in any Ford dealership nationwide starting tomorrow, February 17. Pricing starts at P1.062 million.
