Foton Philippines inaugurates new showroom in Talisay, Cebu

MANILA: Foton Philippines opens a new dealership outlet in the country under the exclusive distributorship of United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) in Talisay, Cebu. This is the company’s second outlet in the Philippines after the Mandaue dealership which got established in 2013.

The entire facility is spread across 2,400 square metre area divided into two phases. While the part one is dedicated to Foton’s passenger vehicles, the other is reserved for the heavy-duty trucks, lightweight vehicles and various service bays. The operations at the first phase have already started while the second phase is still under construction, which is expected to open sometime later this year. The dealership is also known as Foton Cebu South.

The inauguration also marked the launch of the all-new Foton Tornado M light duty truck. Powered by the ISF 3.8 Foton Cummins Blue Energy Euro 4 engine, the Tornado M is one of the finest and the latest inclusion in the commercial vehicle segment. While it has impressive truck capabilities it is no less than a car in terms of the safety features it boasts.

Cebu is one of the most advanced regions in the country as far as commerce and trade industry is concerned. With the opening of a new dealership outlet in the same region, the mobility solutions are expected to streamline and add value to multi-sized businesses in Cebu and beyond.

Foton Philippines is on the expansion spree and by the end of the ongoing year, there would be two more dealerships opened in Bohol and Sasa, Davao followed by a few more in different parts of the country.
