Here is the 2020 Toyota RAV4 Off-Road

MANILA: There is no denying that the Toyota RAV4 is a great SUV. However, a few extra cherries on the cake never hurt, do they? And that is just what Toyota Racing Development (TRD) has done with the newest iteration of the RAV4. Called the 2020 RAV4 Off-Road, the special SUV is a delicious blend of both scintillating styling and dependable off-road capabilities.

What makes the Toyota RAV4 conquer all those terrains are muscular outer elements and a suspension setup specially tuned for off-road duties. The 2020 Toyota RAV4 Off-Road made its way in front of the world at the ongoing 2019 Chicago Auto Show.

Thanks to the two-tone Magnetic Gray Metallic with an Ice Edge Roof combination, the appearance of the new RAV4 is one to set your eyes on. Contributing to take the looks to another level is the dark grey front and rear skirts. And don’t you worry if grey is not your favourite color, the 2020 Toyota RAV4 Off-Road come with other color options like Super White, Lunar Rock,

Midnight Black, Ruby Flare Pearl as well. Dipped in black are the TRD 18-inch flow-formed alloy wheels. The wheels are then clothed with Falken Wildpeak A/T tyres. Helping the tyres in being puncture proof is their square shoulder design. On the inside, SofTex has been used on the seats. You can also see the TRD logo on the headrests. The SUV also gets TRD all-weather floor mats and a rear cargo mat.

Talking about mechanicals, a 2.5-litre Dynamic Force inline-four motor this beast by Toyota. The 4-pot engine makes 203 PS of maximum power and 243 Nm of peak torque. The power produced is then sent to the four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission unit.

Snow, Mud & Sand, and Rock & Dirt are the different driving modes available courtesy the Multi-Terrain Select. Bettering the suspension are the twin-tube shock absorbers along with internal rebound springs. Also, present are coil springs dipped in red which further enhance the suspension of the off-roader.

Along with standard safety features like rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic braking, enhancing the safety aspect of the SUV is the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. But what does this suite bring along?

Well, the Safety Sense 2.0 equips the 2020 Toyota RAV4 Off-Road with features like dynamic radar cruise control, pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, road sign assist, automatic high beam, and lane keep assist.
