Jetour Auto PH solidifies presence in NCR with upcoming Manila Bay dealership

MANILA: Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) is solidifying it foothold in the National Capital Region through a new partnership that will establish a dealership in the Manila Bay area.

JAPI recently formalized its alliance with MG Gateway Mantrade Corporation, a move aimed at strengthening the Chinese automaker's presence in Metro Manila and improving customer access to its products and services.

In a statement, the UAAGI Auto Group subsidiary said the partnership brings together two organizations committed to expanding Jetour's footprint in the Philippine market while enhancing the overall customer ownership experience.

The company added that the upcoming Jetour Auto Manila Bay dealership will support its long-term growth strategy by helping introduce the brand's latest vehicles and mobility technologies to customers in one of the country's key markets.

JAPI Managing Director Miguelito Jose welcomed MG Gateway Mantrade Corporation to the brand's growing dealer network, citing the company's experience in automotive retail.

"Their experience in automotive retail and commitment to customer service will support our efforts to expand the Jetour network and serve more customers nationwide," Jose said.

MG Gateway Mantrade Corporation Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Markane Goho also expressed confidence in the partnership, highlighting Jetour's continued growth in the Philippine automotive market.

Once operational, Jetour Auto Manila Bay will offer a full range of sales, aftersales, and service operations, providing customers with comprehensive support throughout the ownership journey.

According to JAPI, the partnership also reflects the shared commitment of both companies to support the country's evolving mobility landscape, particularly as demand for electrified and new energy vehicles continues to increase. 

"As consumer interest in electrified and new energy vehicles continues to grow, both organizations aim to strengthen market access to Jetour's next-generation mobility solutions through an expanded dealership presence," the company said.

Leading Jetour's electrified vehicle lineup in the Philippines is its Lightning i-DM range of hybrid models, which currently includes:

• X70 Lightning i-DM
• T2 Lightning i-DM
• T1 Lightning i-DM

Lastly, JAPI said the lineup underscores Jetour's commitment to delivering practical and technologically advanced mobility solutions that address the evolving needs of Filipino motorists while supporting the country's gradual shift toward electrified transportation.
