Mirage G4 leads Mitsubishi’s 205% sales uptick in Sept.
MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) sales in September grew by 205% compared to August as it moved 5,384 units.
The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 led the way for MMPC, as it reached sales of 1,873 units. The Mitsubishi L300, in second spot, moved a total of 1,698 units. Both models sold more vehicles in September compared to August with sales upticks of 391% (Mirage G4) and 253% (L300), respectively.
This feat can be ascribed to the Mitsubishi Rollback promo that slashed prices by as much as P106,000 for the L300 and P207,000 for the Mirage G4.
Aside from the Mitsubishi L300 and Mirage G4, other Mitsubishi models that sold well were the following:

MMPC President and CEO Mutsuhiro Oshikiri said, “September was a very good month for MMPC. We are truly grateful to our clients who patronized our brand. We would also like to commend our dealer partners who have displayed strong resiliency towards the tough challenge that we are all facing. We are all geared to finish the year in high spirits and will continue to create programs that will provide easy ownership and excellent customer experience.”
With the success of the Mitsubishi Rollback promo the previous month, MMPC also set an extension for this promo until October 31, 2020. The promo will enable the selling retail price of the Mirage G4 GLX MT to return to as low as P528,000 and the L300 at P698,000.
