Nissan Announces Callback of Selected Models-Takata’s next Milestone
MANILA: The Airbag recall activity from Takata has reached its next milestone. Nossan PH has announced recall of their few vehicle models to look after the faulty airbag inflators. The vehicles found affected with these malfunctioned airbag inflators include Nissan Frontier, manufactured between 2003 and 2008, and Nissan Teana manufactured between 2004 and 2008. Along with Nissan Patrol and Nissan X-Trail 200 are also found victim of the alleged issue.
As this is a voluntary recall, the customers with the infected cars will not be charged for repairs and replacements including the labor cost. People can contact Nissan Customer Assistance Center (NCAC) on (02) 403-65-93, or they can also visit the nearest Nissan Dealership to get their appointment and schedule for the replacement.

Takata has received a lot of curses from the global audience, especially the ones driving a Japanese beauty. Most of the Japanese auto manufacturers have cancelled their collaboration with Takata due to all the blunder executed by this company. Among the biggest recalls globally, the faulty airbag inflator has recorded more than 4.5 million cars being recalled.
In an event earlier, Nissan spokesperson Dion Corbett said, “In line with the recent announcement from the United States' National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, we have decided to no longer use inflators containing ammonium nitrate in airbags for future models. We will continue to put our customers' safety first and work to replace the inflators in vehicles under recall as quickly as possible."
