Subaru Impreza 2017 Teaser Image Revealed Ahead of New York Auto Show 2016

Manila: Subaru Automobiles, manufactured by Fuji Heavy Industries, has teased the public with the sneak peak of its 2017 Subaru Impreza which will make its debut at the New York Auto Show on 23rd March 2016. The all-new Impreza will be built on the new expandable architecture, Subaru Global Platform which will underpin all upcoming Subaru models including new Subaru XV whose concept was revealed at the recently held Geneva Motor Show.

In the new teaser, Subaru has offered a glimpse of a headlight and a side view of the front end including some portions of grille and lower front fascia which is enough to create a buzz in the auto industry all across the globe. According to Yasuyuki Yoshinaga, Fuji Heavy Industries President and CEO, The new Impreza will be unveiled in both the sedan and five-door versions with a refreshed appearance inside and out along with the new upgraded in-car technology as well as Subaru's award-winning safety technology like company's acclaimed Eyesight system. A much bolder and sharper 2017 Subaru Impreza will be 70 percent more rigid and more spacious with a new sleek body design all thanks to the new Subaru Global Platform.

This all-new Subaru sedan and five-door version has retained the company's signature active all-wheel drive system although it might be packed with a more efficient boxer engine.

The 2017 Impreza has said to be taken its styling cues from the concepts which were earlier showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show last year now it will be interesting to see what the Japanese automaker has retained over from the concept and what it improvised upon this new Subaru sedan.
