MANILA: In the quest of producing the fastest and most agile cars, the British automaker Bentley has come up with the fastest four-seater coupe. Tagged as the Continental GT Supersports, it is the most powerful car from Bentley.

Bentley Supersports Front

Starting with the styling of the Continental GT Supersports, the front bumper gets a carbon fibre splitter while the rear gets a carbon fibre diffuser. Even the side sill extensions and hood vents are made up of carbon fibre. The front wing vents and tailpipe finisher are toned in gloss black, leading to a more sophisticated look.

The overall theme is further accentuated with a dark tint on the headlights and taillights while the front grille, rear bumper, door handles and windows are finished with black brightwork. Further, the 21-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels aggrandize the sportiness of the coupe in an effective manner.

Bentley Supersports Cabin

The cabin has been designed with a tri-color theme which includes the combination of white, black and red hues. The seats are covered with Alcantara upholstery and diamond-quilted design. The Alcantara trim accents are also present on the steering wheel, gear lever and door handles, which further improves the premiumness of the four-seater coupe.

Continental Supersports Inerior

Under the hood, the 2017 Continental Supersports is equipped with a 6.0-litre W12 engine with upgraded twin turbos, tweaked charge-air cooling, revised crank train and main connecting-rod bearings. The engine is capable of delivering a maximum power of 710 PS and peak torque of 1,017 Nm. The Continental Supersports deliver 80 PS and 219 Nm more over the standard Continental GT, resulting in a 10-percent better power-to-weight ratio and 25-percent torque-to-weight-ratio. The car can accelerate to 100 kmph mark from zero in mere 3.5 seconds while it can clock a top speed of 336 kmph.

Continental Supersports Rear

The coupe is not only improved on acceleration and agility front but, on its stopping power as well. The braking duties are handled by carbon ceramic brakes with 420mm disc at the front and 356mm at the rear. It also has minimal fade under extreme driving.

The coupe is also available in a convertible version whose acceleration capability for 0 - 100 kmph is 3.7 seconds and top speed count rest at 330 kmph.

After Bentayga, this is the next big launch from Bentley and both these cars are wrapped in utmost luxury as well as power that surely give an awe-inspiring feel.
