Toyota PH dealerships to switch to E-Invoices, E-Receipts starting today

MANILA: Starting July 1, 2026, all Toyota dealerships nationwide will switch over to Electronic Invoices (E-Invoices) and Electronic Receipts (E-Receipts). This replaces the old method of physically printed invoices and receipts. 

The aforementioned,  Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) explained, follows the guidelines of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Regulation Number 11-2025. 

Notably, this covers all transactions, and E-Invoices and E-Receipts are sent to the client-provided email address. Alternatively, these electronic documents are also sent to a customer’s myToyota smartphone app. 

On the other hand, TMP says that certain types of transactions and dealership processes will still provide a customer with a printed copy in addition to the electronic invoices. Regardless, Toyota dealerships will now consider the E-Invoice as the official digital invoice. 

TMP ensures that its dealership network follows appropriate security measures to keep its customers’ private information safe and secure. 

Additionally, TMP says that those who have not received their E-Invoice should check their spam, promotions, or junk folders. Moreover, Clients may update their e-mail addresses by contacting their dealership. 

For those curious, the BIR’s E-Invoice initiative is touted to modernize tax administration and sales reporting. By replacing manual systems, it seeks to reduce input errors, and more importantly, it may be able to make businesses more streamlined and even help prevent tax fraud.

Toyota in PH latest updates

The latest Toyota model in the Philippine market is the Land Cruiser LC300 hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). Following its initial local appearance at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show, it is now available at all Toyota dealerships nationwide with a price ranging from P6.93 million-P6.945 million. 

Propelling the all-new electrified version of the Land Cruiser LC300 is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo gasoline V6 that produces up to 409 horsepower (hp) and 650 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Its six-cylinder mill goes together with an electric motor that adds a further 49 hp and 250 Nm of torque.

Other key specifications of the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 HEV include a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 4x4 drivetrain, a differential locker, and the Toyota Safety Sense advanced driver-assist system (ADAS).
