Unioil opens first Aramco station in PH

MANILA: Unioil Petroleum Philippines has opened the country's first Aramco fuel station, marking the start of the global energy company's retail operations in the local market.

Located in Sucat, Parañaque, the brand's first facility in the Philippines now offers the Proforce fuel line and Valvoline Express Care services, both aimed at delivering a seamless customer experience.

The station is the first tangible result of Aramco's acquisition of a 25-percent equity stake in Unioil made last year.

In a statement, Unioil said the Sucat station is the first of several Aramco-branded stations planned for the country. More locations are set to open along North EDSA (Epifanio de los Santos Avenue), Quezon Avenue, and the North Luzon Expressway.

Aramco Vice President of Retail Ziyad Al Juraifani expressed pride in the company's latest milestone.

“This is another milestone in Aramco’s growth story. Sucat is Unioil’s first Aramco-branded station in the Philippines, but it's part of a bigger plan. The Philippines has the growth and consumer demand to support a stronger fuel retail market, and that's what drew us in. Unioil brings local market knowledge, and we bring global standards. Together, that's a strong combination aiming to bring premium products to local motorists,” he mentioned.

 For his part, Unioil President Kenneth Pundanera emphasized the importance of customers in the partnership.

“Our priority is to give Filipino motorists a new fueling experience when they visit our stations. Through this partnership, we’re providing high-quality fuels, dependable service, and greater value, so customers can truly feel real quality with every visit,” he said.
