Volkswagen Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake virtual launch set for June 24

MANILA: The Arteon, considered an "avant-garde gran turismo" by Volkswagen, and the Arteon Shooting Brake (a second product line variant) will digitally premiere globally on June 24.

The Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake Aside are said to have both efficiency and vibe. For the Arteon Shooting Brake is a dynamic four-door fastback.

In the Volkswagen preview for the Arteon versions, the head of Volkswagen Group Design and Volkswagen Design department Klaus Bischoff stated that a new balance was generated involving space, power, and speed with the Arteon Shooting Brake.

Volkswagen will release a significant update about the model line for the virtual premiere of the two Arteon versions.

For the interior of the Arteon, an entirely new cockpit environment will be included to complement the high-class appeal of these models. The latest modular infotainment matrix (MIB3) systems are also integrated to guarantee high-quality connectivity. From a technological point of view, there will also be a realignment of the drive range.

As for the engines, these will feature powerful torque, low emissions, and high-efficiency levels. Through advanced, future-oriented emissions and engine technologies, maximum efficiency is attained.

Moreover, the model line will also feature intelligent assist systems. For instance, through the travel assist, it is possible for new Arteon models to have highly assisted driving within system limitations for the first time. These Volkswagen models, which were specifically designed with long-distance travel in mind, can take over braking, acceleration, and steering up to speeds of 210kph, under the driver’s supervision.
