VinFast e-Moto PH to start public test drives on dealerships on launch day

MANILA: As it gears up for the launch of its e-motorcycle line in the Philippines, VinFast will also commence test drive opportunities starting tomorrow.

In a statement, the Haiphong-headquartered marque expressed its readiness in allowing the public to experience its roster made up of the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper beginning July 31.

Per VinFast e-Motorcycle, more dealerships are slated to open across the Philippines starting August to ensure that its products, battery solutions, and services are closer to riders across the country.

“Throughout the next few months, VinFast will mount test drive activities at dealerships in key cities including Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao. Dealerships in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Bulacan are also expected to open public test drives, giving more Filipinos the chance to see and test ride VinFast’s e-motorcycle lineup and explore ownership options.”

Here’s what the initial VinFast's E-motorcycle’s lineup can offer to the local market.

Combining elegant styling with everyday agility, the VinFast Evo can do 80 kilometers per hour (kph) and a range of up to 150 kilometers (when equipped with two fully-charged batteries).

On the other hand, both the VinFast Feliz II and Viper can reach a top speed of 90 kph.

VinFast e-Motorcycle noted that all three models will be on display in their available color options, giving visitors the opportunity to compare their designs and features up close.

 VinFast representatives will also be on hand to answer questions about features, pricing and ownership options.

Throughout August, public experience activities at the dealerships will give more Filipinos the chance to see and test ride Evo, Feliz II and Viper, experience battery-swapping technology and explore VinFast's ownership options.

Customers can choose to purchase their motorcycles with batteries or subscribe to a battery plan, with home charging available as another option depending on their needs.

In line with its goal of deploying around 30,000 battery-swapping cabinets nationwide that will make battery access more convenient for riders across the Philippines, prospective buyers may check out these facilities that are already up at select VinFast E-Motorcycle dealerships.
