Exceptional handling
I drove the Mini 3-door compact hatchback many years ago. It was not very exciting as promised. Mini tried to make the car look aggressive. The 2.0-litre twin turbocharged engine’s performance was in the sport cars territory. It had quick acceleration and could negotiate steep slopes without much effort. The handling of the car was exceptional. I could take fast turns, mostly because of the car’s stability and firmness. The overtaking power was great which made it easier to drive the 3-door in city traffic. But the cabin space was rather crammed because of the shorter wheelbase.
