A mixed bag
After owning the Toyota Rush for about a year now, I think I can post a review here that can help others who are considering to buy the Japanese MPV. There is no question about the styling of the Rush. It looks great and carries a bold road presence. The LED headlights, stylish alloy wheels, roofrails, shark fin antenna, and the skid plates are all good looking. Same is the story inside. While the interior may not be the most intuitive but it gets the job done without a fuss. The touchscreen, steering mounted controls, seats, and space are as good as they could have been for the price tag. The third row is the sole reason I went for the Rush. However, all people might have an issue with the legroom on the long-distance rides. In terms of power, the 1.5-litre engine with 104 PS and 134 Nm is fine enough for moderate usage. Do not expect the Rush to give you that adrenaline boost. Just like any other Toyota, the Rush is also safe as a house thanks to the numerous safety features. As a whole, the Toyota Rush is fine MPV for Php 1 million. Neither too bad nor too extravagant.
