Stealthy street fighter
The new CB1000R is a huge step up from the previous version. The industrial design has a clean mean look and you can just sit and stare at the bike all day long. The highlight for me is the silky smooth engine and transmission. Power delivery is linear with enough pulling power throughout the rev band, although the meat of the power comes in after 7,000 rpm. Sometimes, I do wish the CB1000R was more animalistic with a more pronounced howl from the engine and exhaust. The electronics package is also well sorted on this Honda. If you are looking for a predictable comfortable and good looking 1000cc naked bike, the CB1000R is a great choice. I am no expert rider but enjoy my CB1000R even after more than a year of owning it.
