TTC-Bajaj partnership grows outside 3-wheelers

MANILA: The partnership between Trimotors Technology Corporation (TTC) and Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL) has grown outside the three-wheeler market after the former has been appointed as the Philippines distributor of Solo motorcycles and Chetak electric scooters.

In a statement, the J-Del Group of Companies-led managed distributor noted that the recently-forged collaboration further strengthens its relationship with the Maharashtra-headquartered marque.

TTC mentioned that together with BAL, more than 150,000 Bajaj three-wheelers are already running on Philippine roads.

“These vehicles have made Bajaj a trusted name in the Philippines and have contributed significantly to the growth of local transport and livelihood opportunities,” the company shared.

Expressing its readiness to serve daily commuters, logistics providers, and moto taxi hailing services with its expanded portfolio, TTC said that the introduction of the Bajaj Solo motorcycles and the Chetak electric scooter is aligned with its commitment to offering innovative, efficient, and reliable mobility solutions to meet the evolving needs of Filipinos.

Moreover, the firm shared that with its nationwide dealer network, strong aftersales capabilities, and decades of providing customer-focused service, both Bajaj Solo and Chetak electric scooters will be accessible, well-supported, and optimized for Filipino riders.

“Our partnership with Bajaj Auto Limited continues to grow from strength to strength,” TTC President Raul Manglapus III was quoted as saying.

 “The trust placed in us to exclusively distribute these new models highlights our shared commitment to elevating local transportation options. We are proud to bring more practical, sustainable, and high-quality mobility solutions to the Philippines,” the executive added.

Announcement on the official launch of the two newly-included product lines as well as availability are expected to follow soon.
