Bajaj RE now part of Panabo City gov't fleet

MANILA: The Bajaj RE has earned its place in the fleet of Panabo City government in Davao del Norte.

According to the local wing of the Indian three-wheeler brand, TriMotors Technology Corporation — the distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in the country — has donated an RE to the city’s Traffic Management and Development Section.

Below are some of the nameplate’s notable features, which allowed it to be recognized by the city’s traffic management department.

Cost-effective ‘ronda’ partner

The Bajaj RE handed over to the Panabo City government is fitted with a 198 cubic-centimeter engine with a fuel-injected system.

It clocks in at 27 to 30 kilometers per liter, making it an economical partner for those who patrol the city.

“It will surely be affordable and economical for the LGU’s (local government unit) operational costs. For daily patrols, monitoring, or rapid response, the Bajaj RE is always ready. The big-time long-term partner of every LGU!” Bajaj Philippines wrote in a press release.

The Bajaj RE also offers durability where it counts, thanks to its constant velocity shaft, which provides a smooth and reliable ride, even during continuous all-day patrolling.

The Bajaj RE offers a spacious three-wheeler for those who are on patrol duty. It has ergonomic seats that are designed for all-day service and will keep members of the city’s traffic management division at ease during field operations.

According to the company’s website, the Bajaj RE is priced at P203,888. The marque’s literature states that the three-wheeler is available with a P7,500 downpayment.
