Mober teams up with Laguna govt. to use e-trikes for mobile pharmacies

MANILA: Mober has teamed up with the provincial government of Laguna to field two electric tricycles to  make healthcare more accessible to locals. 

The said initiative was done in partnership with Laguna Governor Sol Aragones to support the province’s agenda on improving healthcare for its citizens, especially for persons with disabilities and seniors. 

During the inauguration ceremony, the governor announced key initiatives, including the implementation of free health cards, the development of district hospitals, and the expansion of “Akay ni Sol” pharmacies, which include the launch of mobile butikas to reach more underserved communities.

Mober's e-tricycles will serve as mobile pharmacies, efficiently delivering essential medical supplies directly to the people, with a strong focus on residents in remote and hard-to-reach areas. 

“Healthcare is one of our top agendas for Lagunenses, and we are grateful to partners like Mober for enabling our initiatives in making healthcare more accessible to many communities in Laguna,” the governor said. 

Highlighting public-private partnerships as a key driver in accelerating public services nationwide, Mober Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dennis Ng was quoted saying: “At Mober, we are proud to support initiatives that bring essential services closer to communities. This small step in partnership with the Provincial Government of Laguna reflects our adaptability as a logistics partner, whether for businesses or the government, in exploring practical ways to use our electric fleet to address specific needs.”
