The Hino FM1A is part of the company's 500 series of medium-duty trucks meant for large and medium-sized businesses. The Hino FM1A is a powerful workhorse and comes in a 10-wheel trim. The dump-truck version is equipped with a turbocharged, water-cooled, six-cylinder, 8.9-litre diesel engine that outputs 345 PS/1,422 Nm. The motor is mated to a nine-speed manual. The practical and comfortable cabin gets an adjustable driver's seat, cruise control, and manual air-conditioning. The Hino FM1A is mounted on a leaf spring suspension at both ends.
