BJ Mercantile hands over initial batch of Thaco buses to Cagsawa Travel and Tours

MANILA: BJ Mercantile (BJM) Incorporated has handed over the first batch of Thaco sleeper buses to Cagsawa Travel and Tours Incorporated.

Per the official distributor of the Vietnamese-headquartered bus brand in the Philippines, it gave two units of the Thaco Mobihome to the travel and tour company. The said people movers are aimed to set a new standard for stylish, comfortable, and convenient travel between Manila and the Bicol Region.

“We are proud to partner with Cagsawa Travel and Tours in introducing sleeper bus technology that prioritizes passenger comfort while meeting the operational needs of bus operators,” BJM Incorporated Vice President Leilani Lim Tan was quoted as saying.

Thaco Mobihome features

Per BJM Incorporated, the Thaco Mobihome is a new generation of luxury sleeper buses that is inspired by “the beauty of the universe and the powerful lines of nature.” As such, the bus boasts an elegant and captivating appearance shown in its T-shaped front grille with beveled patterns. These pair with modern LED projector headlights that create a seamless front-to-rear identity.

Further, BJM Incorporated stated that Cagsawa Travel and Tours Incorporated had a lot of design inputs, especially on the interiors, to ensure a top-notch passenger experience on every journey.

The 20 sleeper cabins of the delivered Thaco Mobihome feature premium materials with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring maximum comfort and privacy for passengers. Notable amenities include LCD entertainment screens, bedroom lighting, type A and C phone charging ports, and well-appointed toilets.

In addition, these get UV ceiling lights combined with ambient lighting create a luxurious atmosphere.

For Cagsawa Travel and Tours Incorporated, the acquisition reinforces its vision to become a model and leader in the transport industry through operational excellence for quality service and passengers’ total satisfaction.

“We should have the best and always strive to be the first in order to be the role model in the industry,” Cagsawa Travel and Tours Incorporated Director and Operations Manager William Rogando said.

“We were very impressed when we visited the very modern and expansive Thaco manufacturing facility in Vietnam. I am sure when people start to see these buses on the road, other bus operators will follow suit,” he added.
