Isuzu PH turns over 3 custom NLR77H shuttles to UNAHCO

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has turned over three customized NLR77H shuttle units to the Univet Nutrition and Animal Healthcare Company (UNAHCO). 

The aforementioned vehicles will be utilized by UNAHCO, Inc. as mobile learning hubs for its Seminar on Wheels initiative — a project that seeks to impart relevant livestock and poultry farming knowledge to communities situated around the country. 

Specific knowledge bases targeted by this project include animal nutrition, veterinary health, and farm management solutions. So, in a way, IPC is likewise indirectly empowering these communities through its partnership with UNAHCO, Inc. 

“At Isuzu Philippines, we believe our vehicles are more than just means of transportation. Through UNAHCO’s Seminar on Wheels initiative, these customized Isuzu NLR77H Shuttles become platforms for learning, helping bring valuable agricultural knowledge directly to livestock raisers and farming communities,” IPC Division Head for Sales Mario Ojales said.

Closer look at NLR77H

The Isuzu NLR77H is a light-duty truck that uses the 3.0-liter 4JH1-TC turbodiesel inline-four engine. This is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. At maximum, it can produce up to 104 horsepower and 230 Newton-meters of torque. 

Like most of its siblings, the NLR77H may come fitted with various body types. For the Seminar on Wheels by UNAHCO, it was configured with a shuttle body with a 23-seater, side-facing layout. This is touted to provide a comfortable learning environment for participants. 

Other notable features of the audio-visual equipment include a refrigerator and a dashboard camera for extra safety. Inherent features available to this Isuzu model include an air-conditioning system (dealer option), USB charging ports, and a reversing buzzer - among others. 

With regard to capacities, the NLR77H offers a gross payload capacity of 2,630 kilograms (kg). Its dimensions, meanwhile, measure 6,020 millimeters (mm) long, 1,815 mm wide, and 2,190 mm in height. Its wheelbase spans 3,345 mm.
