Here are the participants for the 1st PITS

MANILA: The Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) and the Automotive Body Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (ABMAP) expressed their readiness for the first-ever Philippine International Truck Show (PITS).

Set to carry to theme “Driving Progress Together,” the event will convene truck and commercial vehicle manufacturers, body builders, transport and logistics stakeholders, fleet operators, entrepreneurs, government representatives, suppliers, and industry partners on October 22-24, 2026 at Hall 1 of the SMX Convention Center Manila.

In a statement, TMA said that the PITS “reflects a shared vision of an industry working together to help move businesses, communities, and the Philippine economy forward.”

Per  TMA President Robert Carlos, the inaugural PITS is aimed at giving the commercial vehicle industry a platform where stakeholders can showcase products, the partnerships, as well as the solutions needed for its continued development.

“Trucks are essential to practically every sector of our economy, yet there has never been a major show in the Philippines dedicated specifically to bringing the entire truck and commercial vehicle ecosystem together. Through PITS, we want to create that platform,” Carlos explained.

“Our theme, ‘Driving Progress Together,’ reflects what we believe is necessary for our industry to move forward. Progress cannot be achieved by manufacturers alone. It requires collaboration among truck brands, body builders, customers, government, transport operators, suppliers, and other stakeholders. PITS is where we bring all of them together,” he added.

The show will bring together the following brands under one roof:

• Isuzu
• Hino
• Toyota
• Fuso
• Foton
• DAF
• JMC
• CMC Commercial Vehicles
• MAN

The aforementioned distributors will be joined by Philippine body builders including Almazora, Centro, F. Cura, Geordan, Kyoei Autobody, and Santarosa, among others.

For his part, ABMAP Vice President for Internal Affairs Conrad Almazora said that the group’s participation in the event provides an opportunity to highlight the capability and contribution of Philippine body manufacturers to the local transport industry.

“A truck becomes truly valuable to a business when it is configured for the work it needs to perform. Philippine body builders understand our local operating conditions and the diverse requirements of Filipino businesses, and we have developed capabilities to provide solutions for many different applications. Through PITS, customers will be able to see how truck manufacturers and body builders work together to provide complete transport solutions,” he noted.

“At the same time, we want to showcase Philippine body-building capability and encourage greater collaboration, innovation, and local value creation within the commercial vehicle industry,” Almazora added.

Additionally, Carlos believed the conducting of the first PITS will help visitors see and compare a wide selection of options under one roof—instead of visiting different locations to explore available truck platforms, body configurations, technologies, and business solutions.

Clients can talk directly with participating truck brands and body builders, discuss their operational requirements, explore different vehicle and body configurations, and identify solutions suited to their businesses.

Eventgoers can visit and check out the offerings at the Hall 1, SMX Convention Center Manila this coming October 22–24 and as early as 9 a.m.—with the admission being free to the public.
