F-Wing body, new safety features added to Fuso FJ 2528R

MANILA: Local Mitsubishi Fuso distributor Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) and Centro Manufacturing Corporation (CMC) announced the introduction of the new F-Wing body, a 32-foot wing van body mounted to a Fuso FJ 2528R chassis.

The FJ 2528R body is designed by Nippon Fruehauf and is now available through pre-order arrangement at authorized Fuso dealerships nationwide. Deliveries for the F-Wing body can come in seven days, SFP said. 

The F-Wing body offers access to the cargo through side-mounted and upward-opening doors. It uses lightweight aluminum materials for increased service life and maximized cargo capacity, which translates to increased customer business’ revenue.

For safety, the FJ 2528R is equipped with a reverse camera and a security strap for roll-on/roll-off (RORO) ships, which secures the truck in place should the ship encounter strong waters and winds.

The introduction of the new F-Wing body together with CMC is in line with SFP’s ambition to stronger presence in the local heavy-duty truck segment, SFP said.
