MANILA: Reinforcing its position as a pioneering brand in full-electric commercial vehicles in the country, Foton Motor Philippines Incorporated (FMPI) formally introduced the all-new Coach EV.

The Foton Coach EV retails at P6.7 million.Building on the momentum that it established in 2023 when it released the Tornado 3.6 EV Light-Duty Truck, the Chinese marque’s newest offering made its official debut at the recently-concluded 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).

"Beyond offering electric vehicles, we are building a complete ecosystem that enables businesses and fleet operators to confidently transition to electric mobility."

Vehicle details
Designed to meet the needs of modern transportation operators, the vehicle is ideal for mass transportation services, private fleet operators, corporate shuttle services, as well as institutional and government transport requirements.
This next-generation mass transit solution from Foton can comfortably seat 33 passengers and its powertrain consists of an electric motor system that has the capability to produce 284 horsepower (hp).
Foton Motor Philippines Incorporated, Facebook pageFurther, the all-new Foton Coach EV offers an emissions-free driving range of up to 350 kilometers, thanks to its 200.54-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery with a GBT charging port and an advanced battery cooling system that integrates the air-conditioning system to cool the underfloor-mounted battery, which has its own fire-extinguishing system.
The commercial vehicle offering also comes with electric steering, an anti-lock braking system, and a dedicated luggage bay.
Priced at P6.7 million, FMPI is retailing the all-new Foton Coach EV with a two-year or 200,000-kilometer (km) vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 400,000-km electric system warranty.

The all-new Coach EV was joined by Foton’s new energy commercial vehicle roster,, namely the TransVan i7 EV, Harabas TM300 EV MPV, Traveller Sierra EV, and the EST 6x4 Tractor Head EV.
