Isuzu corners nearly half of Apr. 2025 YTD PH truck market sales

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has sold 1,592 trucks in the first four months of 2025 — continuing its streak as the leading truck marque locally.

Leading Isuzu Philippines' sales for the initial four months of the year is the N-Series lineup.Based on the latest combined report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA), the company cornered 43-percent share of the country's truck market in January-April 2025.

“Our continued leadership in the truck market reflects the brand’s unwavering commitment to delivering vehicles that truly work for our customers. Owning an Isuzu truck means investing in a product that is proven to last longer, perform more efficiently, and cost less to maintain over time,” IPC President Mikio Tsukui was quoted as saying.
“Backed by our nationwide aftersales support, Isuzu trucks give businesses a clear edge – helping them stay competitive, reduce downtime, and maximize profitability,” he added.
Sales drivers
Leading IPC year-to-date sales is the N-Series, which retailed 905 examples. The said volume showed a 7.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

IPC’s medium-duty truck sales are also on the rise after delivering 545 units to its customers in the January-April 2025 timeline — showing a 2.4-percent year-on-year growth.
Lastly, its heavy-duty truck line was able to sell 142 units to buyers — majority of which came from the recently-launched S and E Series. Such sales performance showed a 59.6-percent increase when compared to the same duration in 2024.

Aftersales support as advantage
Aside from a strong product line, IPC said that its strong sales performance is backed by its aftersales program called the “Isuzu Advantage.”

The said support system, the firm noted, is made up of the following:

- Nationwide Parts Availability: minimize customer downtime
- Isuzu Mobile Medic service: offers on-site truck maintenance and diagnostics
- Expert Field Engineers: provides technical support across the country

“With this strong start to 2025, we are optimistic about maintaining this momentum through the rest of the year. We are confident that our combination of product excellence and customer support will help us retain our position as the number one truck brand in the Philippines,” Tsukui shared.
