Isuzu PH turns over 28 NLR PUV units in Oriental Mindoro

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) turned over the first modern Isuzu PUV in Oriental Mindoro to Victoria Operators Drivers and Commuters Transport Cooperative (VODACTCO).

The turnover ceremony was held at the showroom of Isuzu Calapan with the presence of IPC President Noboru Murakami, IPC Commercial Vehicle Sales Head Mario Ojales, VODACTCO General Manager Gaudencio Callo, and VODACTCO Vice Chairperson James Valdez.

28 units of Isuzu NLR PUV will serve as the main mode of transportation from Calapan City to Victoria. The NLR PUV is outfitted with a range of safe and convenient features to improve the Filipinos' commuting experience.

Being the number one truck brand in the Philippines for 22 consecutive years, Isuzu’s goal has always been about providing transport solutions to people,” Muraka stated, implying that the delivery of the first modern Isuzu PUV to VODACTCO is just another demonstration of how Isuzu consistently improves people's quality of life by offering mobility solutions.

“To comply with the PUV modernization program of LTFRB, we made sure that the replacement of our old traditional jeepneys are durable and fuel-efficient vehicles because this is a big investment for our cooperative members,” Callo said.
