Hino Motors PH hands over 4 new FG buses to First Balfour
Unit turnover signifies strong partnership between the two companies

MANILA: Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) has turned over four brand-new examples of the FG bus to First Balfour, a Philippine-based engineering and construction company.

The Hino FG bus is manufactured at the Hino Motors Philippines plant in Laguna.Per HMP, the turnover of the new FG Buses to First Balfour is a significant milestone, signifying the mutual trust and partnership between the two companies.
“Today, we are not just celebrating the handover of another Hino unit- we’re celebrating the partnership and mutual trust between Hino and First Balfour,” HMP President Shingo Sakai said.
“First Balfour continues to uplift the quality of life for our fellow Filipinos through innovation and excellence in engineering, construction, and project management,” Sakai added.

As HMP further shared, the new buses will be utilized by the engineering firm as transport vehicles for their workers in Leyte. In doing so, First Balfour is thus showcasing its forward thrust when it comes to providing its workforce with “safe and reliable transportation.”
Hino FG
According to HMP, the FG bus model, which is manufactured in its plant in Laguna, exemplifies the company's focus on providing durable and dependable vehicles. The FG is one of its latest bus models belonging to its “Midi” lineup.
The FG model, identified by the FG8JP7A code, shares a six-wheeler platform with its 500 series trucks. It features a Euro 4-compliant 7.6-liter turbodiesel inline-4 engine, capable of producing up to 236 horsepower and 716 Newton-meters of torque.

Other notable mechanical features of the Hino FG include semi-elliptic leaf spring suspension systems for the front and rear, dual-circuit air brakes with an anti-lock braking system, and a six-speed transmission.
Depending on the version, the model can fit up to 61 passengers. Each of its seats may also be equipped with USB chargers, and some variants may also be fitted with air conditioning systems.
