Hyundai PH offers up to P1-M in savings on trucks and buses this Sept.

MANILA: Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) has unveiled its “September-y Good” deals on the Xcient, County Minibus, County Mobile Vaccination Clinic, and Universe.

In a statement, HARI President and Chief Executive Officer Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo said, “The customers have spoken… September-y Good builds on the overwhelmingly favorable response to our Augustong-Gusto promo. We extend our commitment to make investing in a Hyundai truck or bus easier and more economical for entrepreneurs in these challenging times.”

This month, Hyundai offers up to P500,000 discount on the Country minibus  and up to P600,000 discount on the County mobile vaccination clinic. The County is best known for having various features that showcase its reliability, safety, and comfort.

The County features an unintimidating appearance on the road, with its rounded edges and smooth exterior that create a neat and sleek image. It is also equipped with flush panoramic windows that give the passengers a stimulating view.

On the inside, the County features excellent ergonomics and aesthetics that make every ride comfortable and convenient for the driver and passengers. It comes with a commodious cabin with premium cargo storage for extra luggage and cozy passenger seats that offer best-in-class comfort. In standard configuration, the County is installed with 29 seats, including the driver's.

Hyundai has also introduced the mobile vaccination clinic variant of the County. The minibus’s interior can be configured with a clinical bed and storage for medical essentials and healthcare goods to accommodate vaccination procedures. The customer may also request to add two units of portable Bio Ultra Freezers, two units of retractable tent (motorized), blood pressure (BP) apparatus, oxygen tank with regulator and humidifier and other optional medical and emergency equipment.

HARI assures that the County delivers the highest level of performance, resilience, and safety as it was engineered and developed through Hyundai’s modern testing and manufacturing facilities.

The County is powered by a common rail direct injection (CRDi) engine that generates 140ps and delivers responsive acceleration with high torque even at low revs.

The County has also undergone the most demanding durability tests on different road conditions to assure its stability. The bus is built with a robust body on a box-type chassis frame to ensure greater resistance against bending and torsional forces. It was also developed under Hyundai’s electrostatic immersion process to ensure greater rust resistance.

The County also comes with a load-sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) that selectively dispenses hydraulic brake pressure between the front and rear wheels based on the weight distribution of the passenger load. It is also equipped with a large 9+10 tandem brake booster that provides sufficient hydraulic brake pressure to reduce brake pedal force and ensure the safety of the passengers.

Hyundai is also offering up to a P1 million discount on the Universe this month. The Universe is ideal for long-distance trips as it comes with modern comfort features that exceed the expectations of the commuters. It is designed with a roomy cabin equipped with various convenience features.

The Universe was built with electro-deposition technology to ensure that its large structure is highly protected from corrosion. It features a monocoque design to guarantee structural rigidity while being lightweight, significantly reducing vibration and providing overall protection.

The bus chassis system is also made a monocoque to improve ride quality and handling. The Universe also comes with front and rear air suspension and hydraulic shock absorbers with double-acting telescopic type on axles.

The Universe offers 49+1-seater and 45+1-seater configurations to meet the diverse mobility needs of different industries.

The Universe is powered by a six-cylinder in-line electronic diesel engine that generates maximum power of 380ps at 1,900rpm and peak torque of 148kg-m at 1,20 rpm. This Euro 4-compliant engine is mated to a five-speed transmission system, making it more fuel efficient.

To ensure the safety of both the driver and the passengers, the Universe comes with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with anti-slip regulator. This feature helps the driver keep full directional stability in any road condition. The bus is also equipped with a speed limiter that helps prevent excessive acceleration by maintaining the vehicle’s speed threshold at 100kph. Other safety features include multi-focus reflection (MFR) headlamps, fog lamps, aerodynamic outside rearview mirror, and three-point emergency locking retractor (ELR) seatbelts for the driver.

The seats are designed with steel tube framing, vinyl leather covering, and reclining function for a comfortable ride. The Universe also comes with board-type shelves, fluorescent floor lamp, and a roomy luggage compartment.

HARI also offers up to P1 million discount on the Xcient this September. The truck ensures structural rigidity and stability whatever the road and load are as it is built with Hyundai’s signature high-strength steel.

The Xcient comes with a front and rear multi-leaf suspension system, making it capable of taking on tough jobs. The truck is powered by direct-injection D6HA and D6CC engines that deliver higher power output and are Euro 4-compliant. The D6HA generates a maximum power output of 380ps at 2,000rpm and a maximum torque of 160kg-m at 1,200rpm, while the D6CC produces a maximum power of 410ps at 1,900rpm and peak torque of 188kg-m at 1,200rpm.

Although the Xcient is heavy duty, its service maintenance process is kept light with the cab’s 61-degree tilt angle and enlarged tilting cylinder. The upper components are highly protected to avoid oil leakage and prevent undue costs from engine damage and inconvenienced operations.
