Isuzu PH unveils all-new S, E trucks at 2025 Truck Fest

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) formally launched the S and E Series trucks in the country. 

Set to replace the C and the E Series' previous version, the two newly-revealed nameplates are on display at the ongoing 2025 Isuzu Truck Fest —  being conducted at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City from today until March 2, 2025. 

"These new trucks are ready for any customer needs, designed to increase productivity, and of course, improve driver efficiency," IPC Assistant Division Head for Sales Robert Carlos said.

"Truly, the Isuzu S and E Series are designed to be the best solution, especially for big fleet accounts. These trucks are proven to address the requirement and solution to their operation," he added.

Here are some bits of information about IPC's two new offerings. 

Vehicle information

Per IPC, the new heavy-duty trucks are available in various configurations. Some of the options that are made available based on the body applications are the following:

• Aluminum van
• Fuel tanker
• Wing van
• Cement mixer
• Dump truck
• Tractor head 

The heavy-duty truck and its lineup of variants were also designed to come with built-in features catering to enhanced productivity and driver efficiency. 

Specific versions under the Isuzu S and E Series are the SW5, SG5, EK5, and EW5.

Powering the Isuzu's latest mammoths are the Euro V-compliant six-cylinder 10.8-liter turbodiesel mill that can dish out the following figures:

Maximum output (in horsepower)	413
Peak torque (in Newton-meters)	1,990

Depending on the version, the Isuzu S and E trucks may come with a nine-speed manual gearbox or a 12-speed automated manual transmission. All trims come with an inter-axle differential locker. 

Other notable features of the Philippine-retailed Isuzu S and E roster include:

• Anti-lock braking
• Air-conditioning system
• Air-suspension driver’s seat
• Multi-information display instrument cluster that provides real-time driver coaching

The Isuzu S and E Series is being retailed for P3.6-P6.3 million (depending on the trim and body configuration).
