Up to P1-M off Hyundai Universe, more CV discounts in 'Augustong-Gusto' promo

MANILA: Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) celebrates its 20th anniversary this August with the launch of the “Augustong-Gusto” deals for its dependable people and business movers.

In a statement, HARI President and Chief Executive Officer Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo said, “On our anniversary month, we are energized, more than ever, to help entrepreneurs invest well in reliable and efficient business mobility solutions.”

This August, HARI offers up to P500,000 discount  on the Hyundai County. This minibus is specially designed for mass transport and packed with various features that ensure reliability, safety, and comfort.

The County features a sleek look accentuated by rounded edges and  a smooth exterior. It comes with flush panoramic windows that give passengers a great view.

On the inside, the County features excellent ergonomics to provide maximum comfort to the driver and passengers. It has a commodious cabin with cargo storage for extra luggage and plush passenger seats. In standard configuration, the minibus can accommodate 29 people, including the driver.

The County has been subjected to Hyundai’s advanced testing and manufacturing facilities to ensure that it meets the top standards of performance, strength, and safety.

The Hyundai County is powered by a common rail direct injection (CRDi) engine that generates 140ps. It can deliver responsive acceleration with high torque even at low RPM.

The County is built on a box-type chassis frame that provides great resistance against bending and torsional forces. It has also undergone Hyundai’s electrostatic immersion process to make it rust-resistant.

The County also comes with a load sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) that selectively dispenses hydraulic brake pressure between the front and rear wheels based on the weight distribution of the passenger load. It is also equipped with a large 9+10 tandem brake booster that provides sufficient hydraulic brake pressure to reduce brake pedal force and ensure the safety of the passengers.

Customers can get up to P1 million in savings on the Hyundai Universe this August. It is designed with plenty of space, convenience features, and reliability, making it also ideal for mass transport. It is built with electro-deposition technology that gives optimum corrosion protection to ensure that the vehicle is highly protected. It also features a monocoque design that helps reduce vibration and enhance structural rigidity. The chassis system is also a monocoque, providing improved ride quality and handling. To further enhance the ride stability, the Universe is equipped with hydraulic shock absorbers with double-acting telescopic type on axles.

The Universe offers 49+1-seater and 45+1-seater configurations to meet the diverse mobility needs of different industries.

The Hyundai Universe is powered by a D6CC Euro 4 engine that generates a maximum power output of 380ps at 1,900rpm and a maximum torque of 148kg-m at 1,200rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission system, making it more fuel-efficient.

To ensure the safety of every passenger, the Universe comes with an anti-lock braking system with anti-slip regulator that helps keep full directional stability on any road condition. It is also equipped with a speed limiter that helps prevent excessive acceleration by maintaining vehicle’s speed threshold at 100kph. Other safety features include multi-focus reflection (MFR) headlamps, fog lamps, a wide outside rear view mirror, and three-point emergency locking retractor (ELR) seatbelts.

The seats are designed with steel tube framing, vinyl leather covering, and reclining function for a comfortable ride. The Universe also comes with board-type shelves, fluorescent floor lamp, and a roomy luggage compartment.

HARI also offers up to a P1 million discount on the Hyundai Xcient this month. This truck features a robust design accentuated by a massive front grille and dynamic lines. It is built with Hyundai’s signature high-strength steel to ensure structural integrity and durability whatever the road and load are. It features a multi-leaf system suspension on the front and rear.

The Hyundai Xcient is powered by direct-injection D6HA and D6CC engines that deliver higher power output and are Euro 4-compliant. The D6HA generates a maximum power output of 380ps at 2,000rpm and a maximum torque of 160kg-m at 1,200rpm, while the D6CC produces a maximum power of 410ps at 1,900rpm and peak torque of 188kg-m at 1,200rpm.

The Xcient’s cab features a 61-degree tilt angle and an enlarged tilting cylinder that makes vehicle maintenance easier and more convenient. The upper components are highly protected to avoid oil leakage and prevent undue costs from engine damage and encumbered operations.

“We at HARI are committed to sustain the gusto and hopes of the Filipino’s drive toward a better normal for business. That is why we are offering no less than the best and toughest products to help them prepare for the resurgence in economic activity once current restrictions ease up,” Agudo stated.

Just recently, Hyundai Trucks and Buses Philippines launched the MedTRX refrigerated vans to help accelerate the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination program. This is part of the company’s initiatives towards recovery for local businesses and the economy.

The Augustong-Gusto deals can be availed until August 31, 2021.
