NLEX to provide toll rebates for Class 2, 3 vehicles
Temporary relief to start on Monday
MANILA: Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) will provide toll rebates on Class 2 and 3 vehicles operators as the country continues to experience skyrocketing fuel prices caused by the crisis in the Middle East.

Under the aforementioned initiative, qualified transport owners of Class 2 public utility buses (PUB) and modernized jeepneys, as well as Class 3 trucks will be given toll rebates ranging from P12 to P72 per passage, depending on the vehicle class and entry/exit points along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). This will roll back toll rates to their levels prior to the most recent adjustment.

Per the Pangilinan-led company, the program is expected to help stabilize transport cost for essential goods, support commerce and economic activity, and protect the public amid rising fuel prices.
Eligibility
Operators of Class 3 vehicles take advantage of the program by being valid Easytrip subscribers in good standing, with sufficient load, and not currently enrolled in any other toll rebate or discount programs on MPTC expressways, such as the Toll Exemption for Agricultural Trucks.
Meanwhile, operators of PUB and modernized jeepneys are qualified to be part of those who can avail the program if they enroll in the KaBiyahe program by submitting required documents via email to customercare@mptc.com.ph. They should also be accredited operators registered with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, an Easytrip pre-paid account subscriber in good standing, with sufficient load, and not enrolled in any other toll discount programs on MPTC toll roads.
MPTC also noted that qualified transport owners with citations or traffic violation during the program period will be excluded from the rebate program.
The application period for PUB and modernized jeepney operators starts on Monday will run until April 5, 2026.
Relatedly, the expressway operator added that public utility jeepneys will continue to benefit from the Passada Card program.
