MANILA: In a series of interviews, Lamborghini explores the diverse personality of its V10 Huracán Tecnica
"Like athletes at the top of their profession, the best super sports car performance is not just about being first off the start line or a top speed: it demands the coming together of many disciplines, with exceptional performance influenced by many factors," Lamborghini expressed in a release.
The Italian car marque believes that Paola Egonu, Italian volleyball star playing for team Imoco Volley and a member of the Italian national ladies’ squad, shares an attitude with Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica.
Egonu is famed for her vertical jump with a reputation as one of the most powerful volleyball spikers in the world. Through Paola’s innate understanding of attributes necessary to achieve the best performance, including power, beauty, emotion and evolution, Lamborghini draws a parallel between the performance achieved by an exceptional athlete and its latest super sports V10, the company shared.
Unveiled in April 2022 is the Huracán model called the Tecnica: the next-generation rear-wheel drive V10, developed for pilots seeking driving fun and lifestyle perfection on both road and track. The Tecnica’s moniker embodies the advanced evolution of the Huracan’s technical prowess.
The Tecnica's new looks accent improved aerodynamics for heightened performance, stability and ease of use, particularly on a circuit. Taking its engine from the Huracán STO, with an increase of 30CV over the Huracán EVO rear-wheel drive, the powertrain delivers 565Nm of torque at maximum 6,500rpm and improved acceleration of zero to 100kph in 3.2 seconds.
