  • About Honda Philippines

    Honda Philippines has been a major brand in the country for its quality build of vehicles. HCPI is a partnership among Honda Motor Co., Ltd., AC Industrial Holdings, Inc., and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation.

    Ever since its introduction to the market, Honda has put up a name for its innovative spirit, high technological standards, and highly feasible products. Established in October 1990 under the Philippine government's Car Development Program, Honda Phillippines began its production operations in February 1992. Currently, HCPI is a team of over 600 Associates, working with 38 Dealers nationwide and about 60 parts and materials suppliers.

    The automobile manufacturer keeps the market updated in more ways than one, by introducing and upgrading its machine on wheels, on electric power, on land or sea. The company's commitment to quality and customer service remains unchanged. The fact is represented by the City subcompact sedan still being the best-selling Honda in the country with 5,717 units, followed by the BR-V and the Brio.

    For its latest steps towards the future, HCPI recently started production at their Batangas plant, a 20-hectare plant where the brand initiates its assembly line for its top performers. The assembly line comes accompanied by the years of technological expertise, constant research, and development which goes to the making of quality control and customer satisfaction products.

    With over thirty cars in production, HCPI manufactures the Honda City and Honda BR-V at its plant and head office in Laguna Technopark, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. Moreover, last year, Honda Cars Philippines marked a total of 20,338 cars, marking a downtrend by almost 13% of its sales performance in 2018 (23,294). However, the sales chart did a good enough for 5% market share and seventh place in the overall rankings.

    With their products and processes designed to put safe, efficient, economical, and environment-friendly technology to the community, the brand carries a vision for a better world where people, technology, and the environment live as one.
