EV commercial vehicles: the advantages
Why switch to EV commercial vehicles? Well, as Foton shared, doing so can help businesses realize significant savings. This is especially true for those who operate large logistics or transport fleets.
Notably, they are more economical to operate on a day-to-day and long-term basis than internal combustion vehicles. Specifically, Foton’s local arm shared that energy costs can go down by as much as 70 percent when using EV models instead of fossil-fuel-dependent rides. The aforementioned, of course, holds true, as current gasoline and diesel prices in the Philippines are highly volatile.
Maintaining EVs is also touted to be 50 percent cheaper. This is because EVs, whether commercial-grade or not, have fewer moving parts.
