Chery, Foton host inaugural UAAGI Thanksgiving Cup

MANILA: The Year of the Dragon kicked off with a bang as Chery and Foton held the first-ever United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI) Thanksgiving Cup at the North Course of Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo on February 16, 2024. 

The event — filled with camaraderie, competition, and unforgettable moments — was hosted by UAAGI Chairman, Rommel Sytin, and his dynamic team including UAAGI Vice Chairman, Kenneth Sytin, Chery Auto Philippines Managing Director, Froilan Dytianquin, Foton Motor Philippines General Manager, Levy Santos, and newly-appointed Marketing Executive and Senior Vice President for Foton and Chery, Lyn Manalansang-Buena.

Golf enthusiasts and guests were treated to a spectacular day of golfing excellence and entertainment, with numerous prizes and surprises up for grabs. The highlight of the event was the chance to win one of five cars and a golf cart, each waiting for a lucky golfer who could achieve the rare feat of hitting a hole-in-one on the challenging North Course. The atmosphere was electric as participants took their shots, with hopes to secure one of the prizes.

But excitement did not end there as dealer partners, bank partners, media partners, celebrities, and friends all eagerly waited for the announcement of the winners.

The thrill reached its peak during the raffle draw, where UAAGI gave away fantastic prizes, including a MUTT motorcycle as the grand prize.

As the day came to a close, UAAGI made a commitment to continue the tradition, announcing that the Thanksgiving Cup would be an annual event.
