Blade’s 50th store to usher brand into mobility industry

MANILA: Blade’s 50th store is expected to usher the brand into the country’s mobility industry.

Separating it from other Blade centers, the company’s Mindanao Avenue facility has more than just automotive parts and accessories. It now has components and fittings for motorcycles as well as bicycles. Likewise, accessories for both two-wheeled means of transportation is also available in the building.

Even more, Blade’s largest project to date holds a service bay area where various types of vehicles can be accommodated.

“After this unveiling, we have shifted into a new market. We shifted and broadened our spectrum. We no longer are just a car accessory store, we are now into service and mobility,” commented Blade Business Development Officer Miles Sy.

Customers looking to have their rides checked can bring their own replacement parts, auto or moto fluids, as well as accessories noted Blade Sales and Marketing Manager Albert Go. Furthermore, they can check Blade’s dedicated display area on the facility’s first floor or browse from the company’s large library of mobility products on the second floor.

Those looking to capitalize on this one-stop-shop facility may take part in its growth by bringing in businesses such as fast food restaurants as well as other auto, moto, and bike-related trades on the building’s various stalls.

In addition to launching the super facility, Blade also revealed its newest product category — safety. Under it are two major sub-categories: dashcams and helmets.

For Blade’s dashcam offerings, customers can select from products manufactured by different trusted brands like HP, Papago, DrivePro, DUB, and Transcend. And as for its helmets, Blade launched its own line of motorcycle helmets called Hiro.

“Everything (related to) mobility is here, Blade Auto Center Mindanao Avenue,” commented Blade President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Tan.
