GAC GS4 Interior & Features
For its price, the GAC GS4 looks and feels very large from the inside. The immensely spacious cabin, as well as yacht-like layout for the dashboard, gives it a very big car-like feel when seated inside.
The GAC GS4 comes with a very nice looking four-spoke steering wheel, behind which sits the butterfly-shaped analog instrument console, with a MID screen in between. The hexagonal theme is well executed in the centre console as well, with separate housings for the touchscreen infotainment system with AC vents beside it and buttons for it one over the other. The unique hexagonal buttons for climate control too look very different yet very functional and user-friendly.
While the GAC GS4 has a nice and premium looking dual-tone black and brown interior finish, the long-wheelbase opens up large amount of legroom within the cabin. Even the boot space is cavernous, giving sedans a run for their money in the space department.
GAC GS4 Exterior
Compared to all the other midsize SUVs in the market right now, the GAC GS4 definitely has got the advantage, for it looks like an SUV from one segment above just for its sheer size. The overall large dimensions do give it an unmistakable road presence, which is easily comparable to that of full-size SUVs.
The front end of the GAC GS4 is dominated by the presence of a large rounded hexagonal chrome grille with a nice V-shaped layout for the chrome slats. The block-shaped heads along with high raised bonnet do give the GS4 a bulky feel when viewed head-on. The vertical placement for daytime running LEDs besides the round fog lamps is a nice design element too.
The side profile of the GAC GS4 is the best angle to look at it, as the SUV has got some nice touches like thin black cladding, large roof rails, machined alloy wheels and the kink beyond the rear quarter glass, which gives the GS4 a floating roof effect. The rear profile of the GAC GS4 looks a bit drab due to bland boot lid design, with large tail lamps on the sides.
GAC GS4 Ride & Handling
The GAC GS4 sits on a monocoque frame which makes it quite a dynamic SUV to drive. With four-wheel independent suspension, the capacity of GAC GS4 to absorb bumps and undulations with very ease. The presence of disc brakes on all the four wheels do have good and progressive bite too.
GAC GS4 Engine & Fuel Consumption
At the heart of the GAC GS8 sits a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is the only engine option available in this SUV. Even the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox mated to it is the only gearbox option available right now. With the maximum power output of 154 PS and a peak torque output of 235 Nm, the GAC GS4 is one of the most powerful SUVs in its class.

GAC has equipped the GS4 with all the safety essentials like the
For its price, the GAC GS4 is one sheer value for money option. While it is not exceptionally brilliant in any one department, it still feels sorted in all of them, making it a jack of all trades.
