GWM Haval H6 Interior & Features
The new GWM Haval H6 has entered into the third-generation version, and in this version, it looks the most premium it has ever been. As expected, the SUV has been given a makeover at the front and rear, bringing some newness to the overall design.
The front profile of the GWM Haval H6 is majorly covered by the huge and wide grille, which features a star matrix design with unique chrome inserts and distinctive layered vents on the sides, giving it a futuristic appeal. The trapezoidal headlamps placed on the upper corners of the front grille are all LED units, featuring dual projector LEDs and daytime running LEDs within them. The front bumper here gets a wide trapezoidal air dam in the middle and angular housings for the tiny LED fog lamps on the corners.
On the side, the GWM Haval H6 has a traditional upright stance, which makes it less crossover-ish, thanks to the heightened bonnet line, high ground clearance, side body moulding over wheel arches and bottom of the door panels, slim roof rails and 18-inch machined alloy wheels. Like the front, the rear profile of the GWM Haval H6 also looks dramatic, but not unnecessarily outrageous in its appearance. The corners of the boot lid have combination LED tail lamps, while the lower half of the boot lid has a large trapezoidal housing for the license plate.

GWM Haval H6 Ride & Handling
The GWM Haval H6 might not be an outright rugged SUV, but it is capable of taking bad roads with ease with the four drive modes on offer – Standard, Sport, Eco and Snow, all of which offer individualistic driving experience with varying suspension feedbacks. The steering feels too light at higher speeds, making it feel artificial at times.
Haval H6 Engine & Fuel Consumption
The only powertrain option doing its duty in both the variants of the GWM Haval H6 is a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain, which is a combination of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine (148 bhp of power and 230 Nm of torque) and an electric motor. The combined power and torque outputs of this engine and motor are rated at 240 PS and 530 Nm respectively, making it the most powerful engine in its category of premium midsize SUVs. The powertrain is mated to an electronically-controlled CVT, which is operated via a rotary-styled lever.
GWM Haval H6 Braking & Safety
For a premium midsize SUV, GWM has left no stone unturned in making the Haval H6 a safe SUV, with its long list of safety features justifying its premium positioning.
