Recent Updates of Volkswagen Golf GTS
Golf-GTS is actually what Golf-M7 called in the Philippines. In 2018, Volkswagen Philippines had added a top-spec variant called Highline to the previously available variants of the car, namely 2.0 TDI DSG Business Edition and 2.0 TDI DSG Business Edition+. Highline version arrived at a lower price than Business Edition+ model but thankfully retained most of its features.
The array of features starts with Bi-Xenon headlamps along with LED DRLs and wiper with automatic rain sensor at the front. Inside, it houses manual lumbar front seats, leather-wrapped power steering wheel, and a 6.5-inch infotainment panel. Moreover, the infotainment system is also integrated with the support of Android CarPlay and Android Auto.
Under the bonnet, the 2.0-litre four-cylinder TDI diesel engine makes its way, which is standard across all the three variants and there is also no difference in the power output. The mill delivers a maximum power of 148 hp and a peak torque of 340 Nm.
