I recently got a chance to spend a full day with the Indian Springfield Dark Horse. I rode it through a mix of open highways, city traffic, and winding village roads and it gave the feeling that it was designed for long-haul cruising. The 111 V-twin Thunderstroke is very satisfying, with torque that is easily accessible from the get-go. However, this bike is not the most nimble in stop-go urban traffic. What really impressed me was the comfort levels: well-padded, wide seats, and floorboards that give you the flexibility to stretch out naturally.
