Honda Click 160

With the Click 160, Honda has ensured that the scooter looks edgy and appealing without going overboard in its design, an issue which has plagued many new-generation two-wheelers. The scooter has a striking and athletic design and maintains the fine balance between looking extrovert and having a subtlety to it.

At the front, the Honda Click 160 has a rakish-looking apron, which is characterized by sharp creases and angular looking dual-LED headlamp setup at the bottom of it. The headlamps here are characterized by edgy and angular-looking turn indicators on the upper corners of the front apron. The front apron also gets slightly beefy-looking side panels with edgy corners on both sides. There is a fine piano black garnish in the middle of the front apron, above which the tiny handlebar cowl sits.

This console gets displays for speedometer, odometer, trip meters, fuel gauge, tachometer, clock and many more, though the small fonts can be a bit challenging to read while on the go.

The Honda Click 160 is a premium scooter from the 150-160cc scooter, and that can be felt in the mechanical setup of the scooter. The Click 160 sits on an all-new steel frame, which is accompanied by a suspension combination of telescopic forks at the front and a unit swing-arm with single-sided coil spring at the back. Powering the Honda Click 160 is a new-generation four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 157cc engine, which produces a maximum power output of 15.1 PS, while the peak torque output of the engine is rated at 13.8 Nm. Paired to a conventional V-belt transmission, this engine retains Honda’s traditional virtues of refinement and reliability.

The Honda Click 160 is one of the most premium 150-160cc offerings, which gets safety features like dual-channel ABS, keyless ignition and a parking brake lock. It also gets a few other nice features like a USB charger at the front and an idling start-stop system.

With a refined and powerful engine, premium features and a fine-tuned chassis, the Honda Click 160 is one scooter which should be on the radar of those scooter buyers who want something premium in the 150-160cc range. It is the edginess of the design which commands attention in the very first place.
