The Honda Beat is blessed with a sleek design language, which is quite helpful for those who are new to the experience of riding a two-wheeler. The slim profile, as well as sharp design, makes it a compact scooter to handle in the toughest of urban riding duties
For an entry-level scooter, the Honda Beat has got an eye-catching design, which gives it a good road presence. The sharply designed front apron with pointy headlamps and black theme for alloy wheels and engine do indeed make the Honda Beat look sporty
With a telescopic front suspension setup and lean design, the Honda Beat is one agile scooter to handle. The brilliant chassis is supported by the presence of great tyres which provide excellent road grip to it in all conditions.
The four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 110cc engine of the Honda Beat might be small, but with a maximum power output of 8.8 PS, it feels zippy and powerful on the go. Also, it is fuel-injected, so it feels quite refined and jerk-free as well
The slim and compact design of the Honda Beat does eat up a significant amount of under-seat storage space, which is too compact to store a full-face helmet in it.
Since this is an entry-level scooter, the Honda Beat is not too generously equipped with modern features. The scooter does come with a part digital instrument console, however, its layout looks too simple and dated by today’s standards

The Honda Beat is one of the most significant models for the Japanese brand in the Philippines two-wheeler market, and has been consistently ranking as the top volume bringer for the company. The 2021 version was recently introduced with a sleek and sharp-looking design which is well accepted for its easy-to-ride nature and reliability, particularly by the younger riders.
In the Philippines, the Honda Beat has been made available in a total of three different variants – Beat Street, Beat Fashion Sport, and Beat Premium. All these three variants primarily differ on the basis of the body decals they wear. The Street variants come with color options of Ross-White, Euro Grey, and Matte Axis Grey, while the Fashion Sport comes with Black, Vibrant Orange, Fighting Red, and Sahara Blue. Lastly, the Premium variant comes with just two color options of Matte Axis Grey and Matte Fiery Red.
The 2021 Honda Beat might look like a simple scooter from a distance, however, a closer look will make you believe how sleek and trendy it actually is. The sharply designed body panels do make the Honda Beat look edgy, and its youthfulness increases more with the fresh-looking body decals it has in all the variants.
The frontal look of 2021 version itself generates a very strong first impression of a sharp-looking scooter, with the main headlamp unit mounted on the lower central part of the front apron. The upper corners of this halogen headlamp do come mounted with wedge-shaped clear lens turn indicators, while the upper central portion of the front apron gets a black-colored V-shaped applique. The handlebar cowl too looks edgy sans the conventional headlamp placement, and it too gets a V-shaped piano black applique in the middle.
The side portions of the front apron extending towards the floorboard at the bottom have been designed in a zig-zag manner, thus making the scooter even sharper when you view this scooter from the sides. For the size of the scooter, the floorboard is quite roomy with a good amount of knee room for even taller riders.
The side body panels have been given a dual-tone treatment with a good amount of black plastic panels just below the front edge of the seat adding some subtlety to the overall design of the scooter. The bold-looking decals as well as the split design for the five-spoke black alloy wheels make the Honda Beat look stylish. The rear portion of the Honda Beat is characterized by a sharp-looking tail lamp cluster, which gets a simple trapezoidal tail lamp with arrowhead-shaped clear lens blinkers on either sides.
While the overall scooter looks very stylish, the part digital instrument console looks too simple to match the rest of the visual appeal. The analog speedometer is assisted here with a rectangular orange-backlit MID panel, which shows the fuel gauge and odometer. The faux aluminum finished handlebar levers add a premium touch to the Beat.
The sharpness of the 2021 Honda Beat is not restricted only to its styling but is well extended to its ride and handling package as well. The scooter rides on tall 14-inch wheels and gets a slightly stiffer suspension setup of hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and single sided coil spring at the rear. This overall setup, along with the slim profile of the Honda Beat, gives it a sense of athleticism when it comes to handling. The scooter gets a single disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
The 2021 Honda Beat sources its power from a supremely tried and tested and hugely reliable four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 110cc engine, which in past has powered many scooters and has been the mainstay for Honda Beat ever since its inception. This scooter mated to a conventional V-belt transmission is capable of pumping out 8.8 PS of maximum power and 9.2 Nm of peak torque output.
For an entry-level scooter, the Honda Beat is decently equipped with a key shutter mechanism for the ignition keyhole as well as a disc brake at the front. The range-topping Premium variant also gets an integrated braking system as well, which applies both the brakes when the rider applies only the rear brake pedal.
For the price it asks, the Honda Beat comes across as a value for money offering, offering subtle mechanicals and a decent amount of features. The tried and tested engine and chassis of the Honda Beat make up for a great combination which makes this scooter a very robust product.
The Honda Beat is a smart scooter like no other! Beginning right from its sleek and practical looks to its modest engine, the scooter is a true package on offer by the brand. However, it was only the smart fuel efficiency of the bike that led me to purchase this beautiful offering. The fuel returns in this bike is way
This sleek and stylish bike is being highly appreciated by my friends these days. So being curious I bought this ultra-modern bike. Efficiency is another primary
I don’t think a lot of underbone mopeds appear to be fit for all types of riders mainly because they look big and heavy. But then, I like the way how Honda designed the BeAT. The reason I bought it is that it does not look huge, and is very light in weight. So even if the rider is very
The BeAT caught my attention when I visited the Honda showroom for its peppy and trendy design and the really attractive fascia. It looked very modern and youthful. The Honda Beat is an extremely light and nimble scooter. It’s a daily scooter for those on a budget. If you need an entry-level scooter that ticks all the boxes, then the Honda BeAT should be your choice. It’s not a two-wheeler which has great features, but is surely one that does the job of daily commuting. It’s light and compact. As a result, it doesn’t have much of storage space. The seat height is rather low at 740mm
Just like many other college students in my group, I also decided to own up the Honda BeAT due to its affordable price tag and the plethora of features it has to offer. I find the styling of the scooter to be very practical and appealing as it gets wrapped in some pretty vibrant colours. Besides that, I simply love
