Vespa GTV 300

For starters, the Vespa GTV 300 measures 1,975 mm in length, 775 mm in width, and 790 mm in seat height. This premium scooter also comes with a 1,375-mm wheelbase.

Appearance-wise, the GTV 300 looks very unique, thanks to its front fender-mounted LED headlamp designed for maximum road visibility. Above, it features Vespa’s signature elongated LED signal lights and grille finished in hot orange, giving it a youthful, sporty touch. This scooter also flaunts the Vespa logo and a blue Piaggio badge for more detail. And, to complete its front styling, it is fitted with classic-looking round mirrors in black.

In terms of features, the GTV 300 is fitted with a fully-digital instrument display that supports smartphone connectivity for enhanced rider convenience and functionality. It also comes with a USB charging port located on its legshield. Comfort-wise, its ‘racing-look’ single-seat saddle provides both the rider and passenger with great cushioning and support, even on longer rides. Additionally, a decently-sized compartment, which can accommodate smaller full-face helmets and other important documents, is located underneath the seat.

Going back to design. Its side profile looks sporty and sophisticated at the same time, highlighted by its sleek body paint, blacked-out engine and prominent features, as well as vibrant orange decals. This premium two-wheeler runs on a pair of 12-inch die-cast aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres. 

Similar to the front end, its rear also exudes a modern-classic vibe, with its rectangular LED tail lamp and another pair of fairing-mounted LED signal lights. This scooter also has a built-in grab handle for the passenger, making low-speed filters more manageable. With all of these in mind, the GTV 300’s design offers an impressive mix of comfort, practicality, modern functionality, and chic styling wherever it goes.

In terms of suspension, the Vespa GTV 300 is equipped with a Single Arm Fork with a coil spring and a single shock absorber at the front and Double Hydraulic Shock Absorbers with preload adjustability (on four positions) at the rear. This suspension setup delivers an impressive balance of comfort and sportiness on the road. This maxi-scooter hits twists and turns on the open road with confidence and precision. And while it may feel a bit heavier to filter through traffic than other maxi-scooters, the GTV 300 can still deliver a comfortable and stable riding experience around the city.

The GTV 300 is powered by Vespa’s 278cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, four-valve, electronically-injected High Performance Engine (HPE) that delivers 17.5 kW (23.8 hp) of maximum power and 26 Nm of maximum torque. The engine comes mated to a continuously variable transmission with a torque server.

The GTV 300’s HPE offers plenty of power and torque on tap for quick city overtakes and steep rural inclines. It feels exciting when ridden spiritedly, yet remains smooth and refined at lower speeds. It also delivers respectable fuel economy for its displacement and high-performance character. That said, the GTV 300’s engine balances riding enjoyment with everyday city practicality.

The Vespa GTV 300 comes with front and rear stainless steel disc brakes, supported by a dual-channel anti-lock braking system. Its rear disc brake is also equipped with Vespa’s Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR) technology.
