Hariphil fields in 2 Hyundai E-CV models for PH market

Aside from the locally-manufactured HARI Cab, Hariphil Asia Resources Incorporated (HARI) also revealed the electrified versions of Mighty and County.

Unveiled at the Hyundai Truck and Bus Mobility Expo last May 2, two new products served as its entry in the electrified commercial vehicle (E-CV) category.  Per the Korean truck maker’s local arm, the latest models “ushers in a new era of sustainable mobility.”

Here are some details about the two Hyundai E-CV models.

Hyundai Mighty Electric

An electrified light-duty truck, the Hyundai Mighty Electric is engineered for uncompromised performance and low operating costs.

Powering the vehicle is an electric motor that can deliver the following:

• Maximum output: 160.7 horsepower (hp)
• Peak torque: 320 Newton-meters (Nm)

The mill is mated to a 114.5-kilowatt-hour (kWh) lithium-ion battery that gives the Hyundai Mighty Electric a fumes-free range of up to 260 kilometers (when fully charged). This can be juiced in 71 minutes using a 100-kilowatt DC charger.

This is our way of supporting next-generation Filipino entrepreneurs and advancing national sustainability goals, one electric mile at a time,” HARI Vice Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Maria Fe Agudo said.

Hyundai County Electric

On the other hand, the Hyundai Country Electric is a purely-electric minibus that offers a cleaner, quieter, and more economical solution to transport people.

The people hauler is propelled by an permanent magnet synchronous motor that has a peak churn of:

Maximum output	147.9 hp
Peak torque	395 Nm

It comes with a 128-kWh energy bank that lets the vehicle cover as much as 303 kilometers with zero tailpipe emissions.

The vehicle can use a high-capacity 150kW DC charger to recharge the battery to its full capacity in just 72 minutes.

“The County Electric represents HARI’s mission to provide practical, high-performing, and future-ready mobility solutions. It’s built for businesses and institutions that value sustainability and are committed to a cleaner, safer future for the communities they serve,” Agudo shared.

Further, HARI noted that the introduction of the two vehicles support Republic Act 11697 (also known as the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act), and Executive Order 12 — which are both aimed at accelerating EV adoption and infrastructure development.
