Isuzu leads PH truck market for Jan.-Aug. 2025
Overall growth continues amid slowdown in medium-duty truck category
MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) continues to lead truck sales in the country across all segments for the first eight months of 2025.

The company's truck sales for the said period is nearly 10-percent higher compared to the previous year.Based on the latest sales report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA), the Japanese marque’s local arm retailed a total of 3,200 units in January-August this year.
Year on year, the sales volume grew by almost 10 percent compared to the 2,912 trucks rolled out for the same period in 2024.

Sales performance per category
Leading IPC’s sales rally are its offerings under the Category III light-duty trucks and buses. Under the aforementioned segment, the company delivered 1,934 units to buyers — reflecting a 10.9-percent rise over the 1,753 units handed over to clients in the same timeline last year.

Per IPC, this variety “enhances drivability in urban traffic and varied road conditions, while ergonomic cabin design prioritizes driver comfort.”
While it continues to dominate the Category IV (medium trucks and buses) category, IPC experienced a 1.6-percent slide for its August year-to-date sales under the said division — selling only 988 vehicles in the said period unlike the 1,004 units turned over to buyers the previous year.

Lastly, IPC is also the leader in the CAMPI-TMA sales in the Category V as 278 heavy duty trucks (led by the Isuzu S and E series) were released to their respective clients — 79.4 percent higher compared to the 155 units handed over to customers in January-August 2024.

“IPC’s nationwide dealer network and parts availability ensure uninterrupted access to essential products and services. The Isuzu Mobile Medic provides on-site maintenance and diagnostics, while Expert Field Engineers offer technical support across the country,” the truck distributor shared.
