Minibus matchup: Hyundai H350 vs. Ford Transit

Minibus matchup: Hyundai H350 vs. Ford Transit

Having a minibus for your company is a good investment, particularly during this time of limited public transportation.

One of the premier minibuses in the country is the Hyundai H350, which was launched in 2017. It is best known for its spacious interior, top-notch air-conditioning system, and great fuel economy.

In 2019, Ford Philippines introduced its own segment contender, the Ford Transit. Although it is cheaper than the H350, it still boasts a lot of features that make every trip comfortable, safe, and convenient.

Hyundai H350

The Hyundai H350 is equipped with MFR-type head lamps, while the Ford Transit comes with multi-reflector halogen headlamps. Both vehicles are equipped with daytime running lights for improved illumination and nighttime visibility. The passenger side doors on both vehicles a have manual sliding function. Both vehicles also come with manual twin swing rear cargo doors for easier access to the luggage space.

The H350 can accommodate up to 14 people, while the Transit seats 15 occupants. For utmost comfort and convenience even on long trips, the vehicles are both equipped with accessory power outlets, cup holders, and bottle holders.

The Hyundai H350 is powered by an A2 2.5-liter, four stroke-cycle, water-cooled, direct-injection diesel engine that generates maximum power output of 170ps at 3,300rpm and maximum torque of 421Nm at 1,750 rpm. Meanwhile, the Ford Transit is motivated by a 2.2-liter Duratorq TDCi engine that delivers maximum power output of 135ps at 3,750rpm and maximum torque of 385Nm at 1,500 to 2,000rpm. Both vehicles come with a six-speed manual transmission.
